Aqua Champs League Fest 2026 Receives Parenthood Records Recognition for Most Medals Awarded in a Swimming Competition in Malaysia
Record-breaking achievement celebrates participation, confidence-building and the spirit of youth swimming
SHAH ALAM, 13 June 2026 – Aqua Champs League Fest (ACLF) 2026 has been officially recognised by Parenthood Records for achieving the Most Medals Awarded in a Swimming Competition in Malaysia, with a remarkable total of 660 medals presented to young swimmers throughout the event. The recognition was awarded during ACLF 2026 at MAZ International School, Shah Alam, marking a significant milestone for one of Malaysia’s fastest-growing youth aquatic festivals.
Co-organised by Parenthood Media and Swimin12, ACLF brings together young swimmers, parents, coaches, volunteers, sponsors and community partners in a celebration of sports, learning and family engagement.
While the record recognises the unprecedented number of medals awarded, the achievement represents something much deeper – creating meaningful opportunities for children to experience success, build confidence and develop a positive relationship with competition.
A Record Built on Recognition & Encouragement
While many sporting events focus primarily on top-performing athletes, ACLF was designed to create rewarding experiences for swimmers of all levels, particularly those taking part in competitive swimming for the first time.
The record-breaking 660 medals awarded during ACLF 2026 reflect that recognition can play an important role in encouraging children to develop confidence, resilience and a positive attitude towards competition.
According to Swimin12 Founder and President of ACLF 2026, EJ Yeap, the festival was created to ensure more children have the opportunity to experience a sense of achievement through sport.
“For many first-time participants, competitions can feel intimidating. Receiving recognition in a healthy competitive environment can help build confidence and encourage them to keep improving,” he said.
More Than a Swimming Competition
The competition welcomed swimmers aged 4 to 17, alongside an open category for adults, competing across multiple swimming disciplines. Inclusivity remained a core focus, with dedicated categories for swimmers with special needs, ensuring children of different abilities had the opportunity to participate and be celebrated.
Beyond the races, ACLF 2026 offered a vibrant family-friendly atmosphere through its “Battle of the Realms: Ninja vs Wizard” theme, interactive activities, educational experiences and opportunities for parents and children to connect with community partners and sponsors.
Young volunteers and student leaders also played active roles throughout the event, gaining valuable experience in leadership, teamwork and event management.
A Growing Platform for Youth Swimming
The recognition from Parenthood Records highlights ACLF’s broader mission of making competitive swimming more accessible, encouraging participation and creating pathways for young athletes to grow and progress.
Reflecting on the event’s success, Yeap emphasised that the growth of youth swimming requires a collective effort from the wider community.
“This cannot be done by Swimin12 or Parenthood alone. It takes a whole village. When coaches, parents, volunteers and partners come together, we can create more opportunities for beginner swimmers to grow, gain confidence and progress to the next level,” he said.
